Las Vegas, New Mexico - Hot shooting Adams State handed the Cowboys a 96-83 defeat on Saturday at the Wilson Complex. With the loss NMHU is now 6-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Kyrie Thomas scored a season high 22 points to lead the Cowboys while
Kenard Richardson added 18 points.
Blessin Kimble grabbed a game high seven rebounds and
Ja'Kwon Hill had a team high three assists and three steals.
As a team the Cowboys were 27-64 from the floor and 21-27 from the three throw line. NMHU out-rebounded Adams State 33-32.
NMHU and Adams State play in Alamosa on February 6th.
The Cowboys travel to Lakewood this Thursday to play the final non-conference game of the season against Colorado Christian. Game time is 7:00 pm.
