Denver, Colorado - Despite a second half comeback, the Cowboys dropped an 82-76 decision at Regis on Friday night. The Cowboys fall to 10-16 overall and 7-14 in the RMAC while the Rangers are now 15-12 and 12-9 in conference play.
Regis led the game wire to wire despite the Cowboys' second half push that would see them cut the Ranger lead to two points with 2:23 remaining in the game.
Nathan Hasberry led the Cowboys with 21 points on Friday.
Kenard Richardson was also in double figures with 19 points. Richardson had a game high nine rebounds.
Tyler Rodgers scored nine points, grabbed eight rebounds, and had a career high six blocked shots for the Cowboys.
NMHU shot 41.4% from the floor and 77.8% from the free throw line. They also out rebounded Regis 43-38.
The Cowboys head to Colorado Springs on Saturday for a 7:00 pm game at UCCS.
