Portales, NM- The Cowboys drop game one of a two games series to the Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico on Saturday.
Eastern New Mexico game out of the gates swinging putting 5 runs up in the bottom half of the first inning, and added 3 more runs in the 4th. Finally, in the 5th the cowboys were able to scratch 2 across on an Oscar Trillo single that resulted in a greyhounds error that Richie Amavi would score on. Trillo would later score on a balk. The Cowboys would fall to the greyhounds.
The Cowboys look to attempt to split the series in Portales on Sunday March 10th,  first pitch is at set for 1:00 pm MST.
