Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls dropped go 1-1 in their double header against the visiting Thunderwolves of Colorado State University-Pueblo in the first two games of the 4 game series.
Game 1: The Thunderwolves came out swinging putting a total of 9 runs up in the game.Scoring 7 of those 9 runs in the first two innings. The Cowgirls seemed to have had some momentum going as Carlee Gonzalez doubled and Heaven Medina singles to score Gonzalez but it was not enough momentum for the Cowgirls as they fell in game 3 of the series.
Game 2: In game 4 of the series both offenses started out slow but like all weekend CSU-Pueblo struck in the first inning scoring one and later in the 3rd 3 more runs scored. The Cowgirls finally got on the bored. Carlee Gonzalez scores Maddie Greigo on a sacrifice fly to right field. However the Cowgirls would fall to the Thunderwolves.
