Alamosa, Colorado - The Cowboys game up on the short end of a wild game today at Adams State falling 21-15. NMHU is now 6-20 overall and 2-6 in the RMAC.
Despite falling behind early, NMHU battled back plating runs in the third, fourth and fifth inning to keep within striking distance of the Grizzlies. The Cowboys erupted for eight runs in the eighth inning but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.
Offensively,
Tucker Simpson had another big day for NMHU as he went two for six including a pair of home runs, and had six RBI.
Jadrian Martinez was three for six, hit a homer and scored three runs.
Colorado School of Mines visits Las Vegas for a four game series beginning on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
