Denver, Colorado - The Cowboys dropped both ends of Monday's doubleheader to Regis losing 17-5 and 12-4.
With the game tied 5-5 after the Cowboys plated a run in their half of the sixth inning, Regis scored 12 unanswered runs over the next three frames to close out the day's first contest in eight innings.
Benito Martinez had three hits and scored a pair of runs to lead NMHU offensively.
Nathan Corugedo hit his first home run of the season in the sixth inning.
In game two, the Cowboys struck first, scoring a pair of runs in the top of the third inning. The Rangers then responded with seven runs in the home half of the third and didn't trail again en route to the win.
Tucker Simpson had a pair of hits and three RBI to pace the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are now 7-35 overall and 3-21 in the RMAC.
