Denver, Colorado - Regis University handed the Cowgirls a 3-0 setback on Saturday afternoon in the Regis Fieldhouse. NMHU is now 2-9 overall and 1-3 in RMAC play.
Regis out hit the Cowgirls .360 to .079 winning the match 25-16, 25-15, 25-11. No NMHU player had double digit kills in the match. .
"Our effort was very disappointing on Saturday afternoon, give Regis credit they came out and beat us in every phase of the game," said Head Coach
Meg Grose. "We need to figure things out with Adams State and Fort Lewis on the schedule this week."
The Cowgirls are back out on the road again on Tuesday night traveling to Alamosa for a non-conference match with Adams State. Start time for the first of two RMAC Regional Pod matches is 6:00 pm. The second Pod match is on Saturday afternoon when Fort Lewis visits LAs Vegas for a 3:00 pm start.
