Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys beat Westminster 79-76 on Thursday night to win their third consecutive home game. With the win, NMHU improves to 10-13 overall and 3-12 in conference play.
Junior
Blessin Kimble poured in 22 points, on nine of ten shooting from the floor, to lead all scorers on Thursday.
Also in double figures were
Nathan Hasberry (14 points),
KJ LaMonte (13 points), and
Ja'Kwon Hill (10 points).
Kimble was the Cowboys leading rebounder with six.
As a team the Cowboys shot 52.9% from the floor.
Westminster out rebounded NMHU 30-23.
The Cowboys welcome Colorado Mesa to historic Las Vegas for a 3:00 pm game on Saturday afternoon.
