Mountain Lions Offense Mauls Cowgirls

Las Vegas, NM  - The Cowgirls end their series with UCCS.

Game 3: In the first inning UCCS game out swinging in game three of the series scoring six runs in the innings due to a couple of eros by the Cowgirls defense, but the Cowgirls would not go away quietly. Scoring three runs in the bottom half of the first a two run single by Vicky Alvarado and later an RBI single by Alessandra De La Trinidad cut the UCCS lead in half. However, the UCCS offense proved to be too much for the Cowgirls. UCCS put up a crooked number in every inning except the third as the Cowgirls dropped game one 14-4. 

Game 4: The Mountain Lion offense picked up exactly where they left off in game three scoring in every inning of the game with some situational hitting and aggressive base running. Kennedy Williams had a ground out RBI that scored the Cowgirls lone run of the game as the Cowgirls drop the final game of the series 11-1.

A Look Ahead: The Cowgirls are back in action this coming weekend as they head north to take on the Colorado State Univeristy- Pueblo Thunderwolves in a four game series before returning home for a home series against the Fort Lewis Skyhawks.
