Roadrunners Run Wild on Cowgirls

Game 1: This game started off as a rubber match between the starting pitchers Jazmyn Greigo was excellent through seven innings only giving up two runs. She also got a little help from Senior Dioni Lincoln on a ground rule double. It was 2-1 headed into the top of the seventh when the Roadrunners scored two runs.That would be enough for a victory in favor of the Roadrunners 4-1. 

 

Game 2: Errors would be the story of the game for the Cowgirls most of the seven runs the Roadrunners would have would be on three Cowgirls errors. The Roadrunners also had 14 hits. The Cowgirls offense struggled to get anything going. However, Heaven Medina and Alessandra DeLa Trinidad each recorded a hit in this game. The Cowgirls would fall 7-0.

 

HONOR: Tomorrow, the Cowgirls will honor four seniors. Alessandra Dela Trinidad, Heaven Medina, Alexia Apodaca and Karla Banegas. The ceremony takes place before Noon.

 

A Look Ahead
The Cowgirls are back in action tomorrow on the RMAC Network to play their final home games of the 2025 season. Jace Hinton and Scott Galetti on the call.
