The Tigers took 18 total shots, and seven of those found the back of the net. The Cowgirls took seven total shots, and none of them were able to see the back of the net, leading to a 7-0 loss for the Cowgirls.
"An unfortunate big loss today, congrats to Hays. They just wanted more. But as a team, we are ready to rally together and flip the switch for the next game. These games are important lessons for us to learn and will ultimately make us better." Head Coach

NMHU will now turn their focus forward to the upcoming game, as they play one last out-of-conference game before heading into conference play.
The Cowgirls return to action on Saturday Morning at 11 AM MST against Northwestern Oklahoma State, with the game being streamed live on the
Northwestern Oklahoma State TV.
