Cowgirls Open RMAC Play

Las Vegas, New Mexico - Cowgirls soccer opens RMAC play with a home game against Black Hills State on Friday (4 PM) and Regis on Sunday (1 PM).

Cowgirls:
New Mexico Highlands comes in this weekend at 1-3, following their two-game round trip to Oklahoma and Kansas. Opponents have outshot the Cowgirls 65-38 this season. The Cowgirls look to turn that around as they open RMAC play.

LAST TIME OUT:
The Cowgirls return home after a tough two-game road trip following a loss to Fort Hays State and Northwestern Oklahoma State.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS:
Black Hill State comes into Las Vegas with a 3-1-2 record as they open RMAC play with the Cowgirls. John Hutchinson enters his second season at the helm of the Yellow Jackets program and is 1-0-1 all-time against the Cowgirls. Last season in Spearfish, the Yellow Jackets captured the victory.

The Rangers of Regis hold a 4-1-1 record through the first part of the season, with a win over ranked Seattle Pacific University. Jeff Frykholm is in his fourth season at Regis, where he has advanced to the RMAC tournament every year
