Las Vegas, New Mexico - Cowgirls drop final game of conference opening weekend.
The Rangers' offense overpowered the Cowgirls' defense today. Starting in the first half, the Rangers opened with three goals all by the same player. Then, following in the second half, the Rangers would score once more.
The Cowgirls took two shots today on goal, and the Rangers' keeper saved both.
Head Coach
Amanda Evans, following today's loss, said, "I know a loss is always very upsetting, but we felt like the team played much better than they have in the last few games. We were starting to look at our options, and we were starting to anticipate more. We were a very patient team and a very strong passing team, but with more experience, we'll get there."
UP NEXT: Cowgirls are back in action as they head to the Mile High City to face the Roadrunners of Metro State University-Denver at 1:00 PM on the RMAC Network.
