Cowgirls' Volleyball Coach Meg Grose Receives Multi Year Contract Extension

Las Vegas, New Mexico - New Mexico Highlands University has extended the contract of head volleyball coach Meg Grose through a three-year agreement, the university announced today.

Grose has led the Cowgirls' program since the 2024 season, coming to NMHU from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. New Mexico Highlands competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

"It has been great to see our volleyball program continue to move in such a positive direction.Ā  Under Coach Grose's leadership, the team is not only competing at a high level on the court but also excelling in the classroom," said Director of Athletics Scott Noble. "Just as importantly, our student-athletes have increased their involvement in community service, which speaks to the culture and values being built within the program."Ā Ā

Under Grose's leadership, New Mexico Highlands won 12 matches this season, the program's most since 2013, and posted a winning record at home.

"I am very grateful to President Woolf and Scott Noble for the confidence they have in me.Ā  I am also appreciative of the support from the current and former players who believe in what we are building," Grose said. "I look forward to growing the volleyball program here at New Mexico Highlands."
