Cowgirls Cap Off Oklahoma Part of Trip

Edmond, Oklahoma- The Cowgirls wrapped up their trip to Oklahoma

Game 1: Cameron 12- NMHU 8
The Cowgirls would begin their last day in Oklahoma with Cameron University. As the two teams matched each other's score heading into the fourth, the Aggies put up two to make it 5-3, but the Cowgirls said, "We see your two and raise you two," scoring four. To make it 8-,5 however, a six-run 5th made it 12-8, and from there the Aggies held the Cowgirls to no runs, and they would fall.

Game 2: Central Oklahoma (UCO) 26- NMHU 7
Their final game in Oklahoma would not be so kind as Central Oklahoma jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first and put up 13 in the second. The Cowgirls score three runs in the third, Lily Booth's single and Jolissa Valdez's double. They also scored four in the 5th, but the deficit was too great for the Cowgirls fall.

Up Next: The Cowgirls face Hillsdale College out of Michigan in the Lone Star state Sunday then UT Tyler on Monday in a double header in Tyler Texas.
