Mines then brought the game within one on a couple of hits, which scored two runs. They then tied it in the seventh on a hit to make it 6-6.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Cowgirls loaded the bases, and after an eight-pitch at bat, Olivia Boswell would single up the middle, and the Cowgirls would walk away with a win in game one by the score of 7-6.
