Biography

Megan is a redshirt freshman from Albuquerque, NM. She’s earned honors on the All- District 2nd Team, 3 year All Academic Team, Gatorade Player of the Week, and All-State. When she’s not on the court she enjoys hanging out with friends, just enjoying life. After graduation she would like to become a pediatrician or physical therapist. She became a Cowgirl because she loved everything about the plans for the future of this program and she wanted to be a part of it. She chose Division II because she felt it was the right way for her to be able to get a four year education and play basketball at the same time. Her favorite thing about Las Vegas is the close environment of the city which makes it feel like a family. Her parents are Mike and Toni Burgess and Don and Karin Bass.
