Summary

Biography

Melissa is a sophomore from Albuquerque, NM majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Coaching. Melissa was selected to the 2010 RMAC Softball All-Conference Third Team as a pitcher. When she isn’t taking the mound for the Cowgirls Melissa likes to watch movies, dance, and sleep. She would like to teach second grade and coach at the high school level when she graduates from NMHU. Melissa chose to play Division II softball at NMHU because of the smaller school and class sizes. Her favorite thing about Las Vegas is the friendly people. Melissa is the daughter of Gary and Yolanda Martinez.
