She earned All District Setter and All State Setter honors prior to starting her career at NMHU. After graduation, Sharalynn plans to become a teacher. Her favorite professional athlete is Jason Witten. Her parents are Ted and Janice Barela. She admires her mother the most because she inspires her to push through everything.
