Before NMHU:  Played two seasons for Coach Shelby Forchtner at New Mexico Military Institute...Helped the Broncos to back to back undefeated conference seasons...Earned WJCAC All-Conference Team honors...Named the NMMI Bronco Scholar Female Athlete of the Year....NMMI Valedictorian...Named to the NJCAA All-Academic First Team.

Prep: 2023 graduate of El Paso High School...Three year letter winner under Coach Yesina Alacron-Ortega...Helped team to District, Bi-District and Area championships...Named All-City Hitter of the Year...Was District 1-5A MVP...Was a three time Academic All-District honoree...All-State Academic team...Top 10% of high school class.

Personal: Daughter of Anna and Ronald Favela...Sister of Brandon, Alianna, and Ivan...Both of her parents are former military service members of the Army Branch, her father retired from the Army with 27 years of service and her mother served 8 years in the military.

Why I chose NMHU: I liked that it was close to home and that the coaches and girls were so welcoming. The small town is also a place that I like rather than a college in an urban area. The coaches have a lot of knowledge and experience especially in my position so I am looking forward to growing as a student-athlete for my last two years of collegiate volleyball.
