Free Admission at Women's Basketball Game; JC's $10,000 Basketball Challenge Debuts at Halftime

LAS VEGAS, N.M.
– The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team (0-3) will play its final non-conference game of the season Tuesday (Dec. 2) against Texas-Permian Basin at the Wilson Complex at 6 p.m. All fans can check out the 2014-15 Cowgirls basketball squad for free for the game against the Falcons. It will also be the debut of the JC's NY Pizza Department $10,000 basketball challenge.

At halftime of the women's game against Texas-Permian Basin and every home men' conference, a ticket will be chosen at random to participate in the challenge. The person chosen will have 45 seconds to make a lay-up, free throw, three-pointer and a half court shot to win the grand prize.

How does one receive an entry? Visit JC's and request a ticket for every visit with purchase. For every increment of $25 spent, you may request an additional ticket. Also, you may receive a ticket by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to JC's NY Pizza Department in Las Vegas, N.M.

Bring those coupons filled out with your name, cell phone number and email to any home New Mexico Highlands men's and women's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference doubleheader and you could randomly selected to participate.

Following the free non-conference women's game on Tuesday, all tickets for conference games will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids 13-17 and for senior citizens, beginning with Friday's contest (Dec. 5) against Colorado Christian. A purchased ticket will be good for both the women's and men's doubleheader against the Cougars beginning at 5 p.m.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls conclude the weekend on Saturday (Dec. 6) against Colorado School of Mines with the doubleheader set for 5 p.m.
