ODESDSSA, Texas- The Cowboy baseball team will travel to University of Texas at Permian Basin to take on the Falcons in a three game series. The Cowboys will look to break their losing streak while in Odessa.
The Falcons come into the weekend with a 5-8 overall record. This past weekend the Falcons hosted RMAC member Adams St. who took two of three from them on their home field. The Falcons are lead by Jordan Zazuulak who is the only player to start all 12 games. He is batting .316 in 38 appearances with one homerun, one triple and three doubles. On the mound the Cowboys have had four different pitchers with two or more starts, but no pitcher has more than one win.
The Cowboys are lead this season by
Jesus Caporal who has started all 10 games for the Cowboys at shortstop this season. He is batting .353 with 34 appearances, two doubles, and five RBIs.
Jeremy McCarty and
Easton Garcia have chipped in seven and six RBIs respectably. On the mound
Joel Lamont, and
Cody Lawson have been an integral part of the rotation, both starting three games this season.
The series will kick off with two games on Friday, the first starting at 11 a.m. and the second starting at 1:30 p.m. Live stats will be available for all games while video will be available for Friday's games only.
