Lubby Marrujo has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division II Baseball Academic All-District Team.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
A Las Vegas, New Mexico native, Marrujo started 48 games at shortstop for the Cowboys this season. He ranked sixth in the RMAC with 134 assists and tied for eighth in the conference with 24 double plays turned. At the plate, Marrujo hit a career-best .358 and led the Cowboys with 57 hits. He appeared in 194 games during his career at New Mexico Highlands.
Marrujo maintained a perfect 4.00 grade point average while working toward his MBA.
