Box Score 2 LAS VEGAS, N.M.- The Cowboys met up for two this afternoon at Brandt Field in a RMAC showdown. The Thunderwolves would take both games by scores of 9-5 and 6-5.

Game 1The Thunderwolves took the first game by a score of 9-5. The Thunderwolves came into the game looking for revenge after
Emilio Medina's walk-off homerun in the bottom of the ninth yesterday afternoon. With Castaneda at third Menocal singled to right to score Castaneda and make it a 1-0 game in the top of the second. Two batters latter Godman sent a shot to the tennis courts in right for a three run homerun.

The Cowboys answered in the bottom half of the inning.
Alvaro Gonzalez went deep to lead off the inning over the centerfield wall. After a Medina double
Brian Chaparro singled to right and Medina scored easily from second. After two innings the Cowboys trailed 4-2.

The Cowboys continued the streak in the bottom of the third.
Jesus Caporal doubled then was driven in by
Jeremy McCarty to make it a one run game. McCarty stole second and took third on a throwing error by the catcher.
Frankie Silva hit a deep ball to left and drove McCarty home.

In the top of the fourth the Thunderwolves took the lead once again. With Menocal on second after a double, Godman drove him in with a single to left. Godman scored on a Sauce single to center and to give them the 6-4 lead at the end of four.

An error by the Thunderwolves' third baseman on a ball hit by Garcia and Cilladi at third allowed Cillidi to score. That's where the score would end, 6-5 Pueblo.

Game 2The Cowboys would get on the board in their half of the first. Gonzalez would go deep for the second time with McCarty and Blackwell on base to give the Cowboys the early 3-0 lead. Â Pueblo would score in the top of the third with runners on second and third. Jackson hit a double to right field but was thrown out at third on a great relay from McCarty to Cilladi to Gonzalez but Godman and Compehos score to cut the Cowboys' lead in half.

The Cowboys would get one of those runs back in the bottom of the third. With Gonzalez on second with a double, Caporal singled and allowed Gonzalez to score. Pueblo scored on in their half of the fourth to make it a 4-3 Cowboy lead after four.

The Thunderwolves showed why they are one of the top teams in the RMAC in the top of the fifth. With one out and a runner of first Bregar homered to right to give the Thunderwolves' their first lead of the game at 6-4. They would add one more on a fielder's choice error on the Cowboy's third baseman that allowed Jackson to score.

The Cowboys had their chance in the bottom of the ninth.
Easton Garcia lead off with a single. After an out McCarty singled to right and Garcia moved over to third. The Thunderwolves didn't let Gonzalez hurt them again as they walked him. After a foul out Caporal walked to cut the lead down to one. Unfortunately, the Thunderwolves would strike out Chaparro to end the game.
