Box Score LAS VEGAS, N.M- The Cowboys and Thunderwolves took to the field n Sunday afternoon to close out their weekend series. The Cowboys would gain the lead early but dropped the game by a score of 8-7.

The Cowboys wasted not time as in the bottom of the first
Brad Blackwell went deep to right center to give the Cowboys the 1-0 lead. The Cowboys built their lead in the bottom on the sixth.
Easton Garcia singled to center with Cilliadi on first, but the centerfielder couldn't field the ball cleaning and Cilladi scored and Garcia made it to third. Garcia would score on a double by McCarty.

In the top of the seventh the Thunderwolves once again showed why they are one of the top teams in the RMAC. Cebulski led off with a deep homerun to left to make it 3-1. With runners on first and second Godman hit a triple to center and earned two RBIs. Bregar continued the rally after a walk with a double to left center to score two and make it a 5-3 Thunderwolves lead. The Thunderwolves would score one more to give them the 6-3 lead.

Brain Chaparro helped the Cowboys cut the lead with an RBI ground out that scored
Jesus Caporal. The Thunderwolves added two in the top of the ninth on a sacrifice fly and and a double to centerfield.

The Cowboys made a push in the bottom of the ninth as they trailed 8-4. Carpoal led off the inning with a triple to left center. Medina was hit by a pitch to give the Cowboys runners on the corners. Castro came into the game to pinch run for Medina.
Frankie Silva reached on a fielder's choice but the Thunderwolves exchanged an out for a run as Caporal scored. With two outs Cilladi tripled to left center over a shallow outfield and score Silva from second to make it a one run game 8-7. The Thunderwolves' pitcher got
Brad Blackwell to strike out to end the game.
