Last Time Grizzlies and Cowboys Met
The Grizzlies and Cowboys met earlier this season in the RMAC series of the season on March 3-6. It was the last series of a 14 game road swing. The Grizzlies took three-of-four with the only Cowboy win coming in the second game by a score of 3-1.
Scouting New Mexico Highlands
Alvaro Gonzalez is the only Cowboy with an average over .300 at .313. He leads the team in homeruns with 10, 10 doubles, 33 RBIs and a .604 slugging percentage.
Jeremy McCarty is just one RBI behind Gonzalez while batting .279 in 147 at-bats.

Shannon Hunt squad with 11 starts a piece. Lamont has pitched 54.0 innings with a 1-5 record and a 5.17 ERA whole striking out 51 and walking 25. Lawson is 3-6 with a 4.48 ERA in 64.1 innings. Lawson has only walked 13 while striking out 41.

The Grizzlies are led be by Michael Downs with a .383 average while playing in 31 of the Grizzlies 37 games. He is tied for the most doubles on the team with 10. Leading the team in RBIs is Deven Nelson with 25 while batting .283 in 120 at-bats.
The Cowboys should expect to see Bailey Garcia, Tanner Wiemers, and Josh Keaton getting the nods this weekend. Garcia had a 5-2 record in eight starts with a 4.67 ERA. He is second on the team in strikeouts with 46 right behind Keaton with 57. Keaton enters the weekend with a 1-5 record and a 6.84 ERA, Wiemers is 3-4 this season in eight starts and has a 6.61 ERA.
