Box Score LAS VEGAS, N.M- The Cowboys opened their last home stand of the season against the Grizzlies of Adams St. The Grizzlies took the first game of the three game series by a score of 14-11.

The Grizzlies took the 5-0 lead by scoring one in the second, three in the third, and one in the fourth before the Cowboys woke up.

In the fourth
Joseph Cilladi led things off by reaching base on a Grizzlies' error.
Alvaro Gonzalez singled on a high chopper to the shortstop and the quick Cilladi took advantage of the height and took third on the play. A two RBI double by Jeremey McCarty got the Cowboys on the board. With runners on the corners two batters later
Brad Blackwell singled down the right field line to score two more and make it a 5-3 game. With two outs
Emilio Medina sent one pas the diving third baseman and added two more runs to his RBI total. After four innings the Cowboys and Grizzlies were tied at five all.

The Grizzlies added nine runs in their last five frames as the Cowboys were down 14-9 headed into the bottom of the ninth.

The Grizzlies retired the first two batters in the ninth and the Cowboys were down to their final out.
Jesus Caporal singled through the right side to start the rally. Blackwell pulled one to right center that went over the wall and made it a 14-11 game.
