LAS VEGAS, N.M.- The Cowboys and the Roadrunners of Metro St. will meet in a four games weekend series in Las Vegas.
Just a Quick Reminder The New Mexico Highlands athletics department would like to remind fans and guests about a few things. First, please do not bring outside food and drink to the softball fields. There will be food and drinks available at the concession stand. Second, PETS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE GATES. Please leave your pets at home. Lastly, please park in the Wilson Complex as the gate by the field house will be locked for both car and foot traffic. Tickets are $5.

Scouting New Mexico HighlandsThe Cowboys enter the weekend with a 5-28, 2-18 record after coming off being swept by Colorado Mines.
Last weekend
Alvaro Gonzalez hut .714 with three doubles, three homeruns, ad four walks in 14 at-bats. He leads the team with 10 homeruns this season and with 28 RBIs while batting .322. Right behind him is
Jesus Caporal with a .299 average with 15 RBIs and 35 hits.
Corey Nelson leads the Cowboys in wins with two, while
Dylan Norris, Alex Guiterrez, and
Cody Lawson each have one win. Nelson has a 5.97 ERA in 10 appearances this season. The Cowboys are expected to start
Joel Lamont, Cody Nelson, and Max Sidelecki as each have at least seven starts.
Scouting Metro St.The Roadrunners enter the weekend with a 12-14, 8-8 record coming off a 3-1 series win over Regis.
At the plate the Roadrunners are led by Hunter Donaldson with a .411 average with 10 doubles, one triple, and two homeruns. In the RBI column they are lead by Andrew Paust with 22 who also leads the team in slugging percentage at .629.
The Roadrunners are lead by Julian Garcia with a 4-3 record and a 2.28 ERA in seven starts. The Cowboys should also expect to see Javi Vega (3-2, 2.29), Cameron Stroup (2-1, 4.26), Jared Roley (1-3, 6.43), and Ryan Baca (1-4, 6.67).
