The Cowboys were able to get two runners on in the top of the first, but they failed to convert as they left two on. Junior
Dakota Pacheco started the day on the mound for the Cowboys. He gave up a single to his first batter, but he responded well, not giving up another hit for the inning.Â

The bottom of the second did not start out well for Pacheco as he gave up a solo home run as the Tigers broke the ice at 1-0. He otherwise made quick work of the side.

The Cowboys could not muster up any hits in the top of the third as they went three up, three down. The Tigers were able to push another run across when they had the bats in their hands.Â

Junior
Luis Ornelas got on base in the top of the 7th by way of a walk. Shortly after, Senior
Emilio Medina picked up the single to center field, allowing Ornelas to get across for the Cowboys first run of the day. After giving up 3 runs combined in the 5th and 6th inning, Pacheco was relieved by Junior
Kyle Bedsole. He did well as he retired his first three batters.

The Cowboys had their most productive inning in the top of the 9th. Senior
Easton Garcia walked his way onto base, and Junior
Frankie Silva singled to left field, pushing Garcia across and picking up the RBI. Junior
Eduardo Perez smacked a single to left, which opened the door for Junior
Codie Simmons to get himself home. While they finished strong, the Cowboys could not overcome a slow start.
