Cowboys Start RMAC Play at Home

The New Mexico Highlands University Baseball team will come home as they take on the University of the Southwest Mustangs on February 28^th at 12:00 p.m. and the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers on March 3^rd-5^th. Your Cowboys hold an overall record of 4-7.
 
New Mexico Highlands University Cowboys: The Cowboys are playing well as of late. After starting 0-6, they have won 4 of their last 5 games. Junior James Cordova has been effective for his team as he leads them with 22 RBIs on the season. Junior Luis Ornelas has shown discipline at the plate as he leads the Cowboys with 11 walks. Senior Phil Trujillo has been solid on the mound for his team as he carries a .64 ERA.
 

 
Colorado School of Mines Orediggers: The Orediggers enter this matchup with a 4-3 overall record. They have played well at home, but they carry a 1-3 road record which may play into the Cowboys hands. They are led by Colton Wardle as he is hitting .385 with 1 home run. Walter Pennington has been tough on the mound as he holds a 2.70 ERA.
