The New Mexico Highlands University Baseball team will travel to Colorado as they take on the Metropolitan State University-Denver Road Runners on March 10th-12th. On March 10th, they will play at 2:00 p.m, on the 11th, they will play at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. To wrap on the series, they will play on the 12th at 12:00 p.m. Your Cowboys sit with a 6-9 overall record and a 2-1 RMAC record.
New Mexico Highlands University Cowboys: The Cowboys have been playing well lately, and that is evident by their 2-1 RMAC record. Senior Easton Garcia has been key for his team as he is batting .415. Senior Jeremy McCarty has also been a huge part of the Cowboys record as he holds a .700 batting average with 5 home runs and 21 RBIs. Junior pitcher Dakota Pacheco has held things down well on the mound a he carries a 3.60 ERA with a team leading 25 strikeouts.
Metropolitan State University-Denver Road Runners: The Road Runners will welcome the Cowboys with a 6-8 overall record. Cale O'Donnell has led the charge for his team as he is currently batting .438 with 3 home runs and 15 RBIs. Jake Ekman is batting .333 with 10 runs on the year. Hunter Hogoboom has been solid on the mound as he carries a 2.45 ERA.
