NMHU's Topal, Scott and Holl set for NCAA Outdoor Championships in Michigan starting Thursday

LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- New Mexico Highlands' Annie Topal, Kaitlyn Holl and Kaitlyn Scott are set to start competing at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships this week in Allendale, Michigan.

Scott and Holl will get rolling Thursday with Scott competing in the hammer throw 3:30 p.m. (CT) and  Holl participating in the long jump at 5:30 p.m. (CT). Scott enters the event  ranked 24th at 55.44 meters (181 feet, 11 inches - set at the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open on April 1) while Holl is 20th at 5.98 meters (19-7.5) set at the RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships - helping her take second.

Topal, who won her seventh RMAC triple jump title this year, will compete 4:45 p.m. Friday. Topal, the 2019 triple jump national champion, enters the event ranked sixth at 12.78 meters (41-11.25) - which she set at the RMAC Championships.
