COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- New Mexico Highlands'
Annie Topal was named RMAC All-Academic First Team for women's outdoor track and field when the conference released the awards Thursday.
Topal, who won her seventh overall RMAC triple jump title this outdoor season, owns a 4.0 GPA as a graduate student with an emphasis in Forestry, for the Cowgirls.
Topal, the 2019 triple jump national champion, looks to regain her title when she begins action at the NCAA Championships on Friday in Allendale, Michigan.
