Albuquerque, NM – The Cowgirls fall to the Lobos in exhibition play.
Saturday 08.20.22 at The Pit.
1:00pm — A new line up for the Cowgirls held its own over the first game of the match before subcoming to the Lobos in a game that had a lot of opening game of the season types of errors.
"Injuries and the loss of a starting middle blocker led to some early adjustments. The Lobos pressured us all day with tough serving that made it hard to get the offense going. Our setters were doing a great job covering the court but it made our offense a little to predictable and we wern't able to make headway against such a strong opponet" - Head Coach Tom Duke on the Cowgirls loss.
6 is a pack — The Cowgirls are excited about finding a constant starting 6 and how to work in all the newest members of NMHU.
2 for the road — The Cowgirls play two tournaments on the road before opening conference play September 6th at home against Fort Lewis.
