Las Vegas, New Mexico - New Mexico Highlands University Athletics announced the 2026 Meadow City Classic presented by Trujillo Agency will take place September 4-5 in historic Las Vegas, New Mexico. The tournament will feature five NCAA Division II programs, including host New Mexico Highlands, Eastern New Mexico, Western New Mexico, Northwestern Oklahoma State, and Southeastern Oklahoma State.
The 2026 Meadow City Classic marks the return of an in-season volleyball tournament to New Mexico Highlands for the first time since 2013.
"We are excited to welcome these outstanding programs to campus for the 2026 Meadow City Classic," said New Mexico Highlands Head Volleyball Coach
Meg Grose. "This tournament will provide our student-athletes with quality competition while showcasing our university, community, and the incredible support we receive from our fans."
New Mexico Highlands Athletics would like to recognize Michael Martinez and the Trujillo Agency for serving as the tournament's title sponsor.
"This tournament brings regional competition to Las Vegas, showcases our campus and facilities, and creates an opportunity for our fans to experience a great weekend of volleyball," said Director of Athletics

Support from the Trujillo Agency has played a key role in enhancing the tournament experience for student-athletes, coaches, and fans attending the Meadow City Classic.Â

"It also serves as a platform to elevate the visibility of Las Vegas and highlight the broad range of athletic opportunities available at New Mexico Highlands University."
