Cowboys Host Regis for the Weekend

As the baseball season progresses, New Mexico Highlands University and Regis are set to face off in a highly anticipated game on Friday, April 21st. While both teams have had vastly different seasons so far, this game is sure to be an exciting matchup.

NMHU enters the game with a record of 3-35, struggling to find their footing throughout the season. However, they have shown that they are capable of competing at a high level, and they will be looking to turn things around with a win against Regis. They will need to rely on their refreshed lineup to be the spark for runs and their pitching staff to keep Regis' bats quiet.
On the other hand, Regis has had a solid season so far, boasting a record of 22-16. They will be looking to continue their winning ways against NMHU, and will be relying on their strong pitching staff to dominate on the mound. Their lineup has not struggled to score this season, specifically as of late. Regis scored 42 runs against Colorado School of Mines last weekend.

The game will take place at 3 PM at Brandt field, NMHU's home field. While the home field advantage can play a role in baseball games, it will be an uphill battle for NMHU to secure a win against the strong Regis team. However, anything can happen on the field, and NMHU will be hoping to catch Regis off guard and end the season strong.

Following Friday's game, both teams will face off again on Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday featuring a doubleheader. This gives NMHU the opportunity to rebound and potentially steal a series win from Regis. Regis, on the other hand, will be looking to continue their winning ways and maintain their spot near the top fo the RMAC.

Overall, this series between NMHU and Regis promises to be an exciting one, with both teams looking to make a statement. Cowboys fans can expect to see some great pitching, solid defense, and hopefully some big hits from both sides. It will be interesting to see which team comes out on top and takes the series victory.
