Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys are headed back to the Sooner state this week for a four game set versus Oklahoma Baptist. The series has been moved from the OBU campus and will now be played at Seminole State College.
NMHU enters the series with the Bison in search of their first win of the 2024 campaign after battling a tough field last weekend at the Edmond First Pitch Classic. The Bison, members of the Great American Conference, were also in Edmond last weekend and posted a 2-1 record with wins over Pittsburg State and Emporia State and a loss to host Central Oklahoma.
The Cowboys' pitching staff recorded 35 strikeouts last week which leads the RMAC. Individually,
Jadrian Martinez and
Andrew Baltazar rank among the top 10 in the conference in strikeouts.
Games this weekend are available on a pay-per-view basis on the
Bison Sports Network and live stats are available at
OBUBison.com.
After this weekend's games, the Cowboys will next be in action at Fort Hays State for doubleheaders on February 16th and 17th.
