Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands baseball team is back on the road this weekend as they head to Alamosa for a series with Adams State.
The Cowboys split their series with CSU-Pueblo last weekend in Albuquerque to improve to 6-16 overall and 2-2 in the RMAC. Adams State swept Colorado Christian a week ago and comes into this weekend's games at 10-16 overall and 5-3 in the conference.
NMHU and Adams State have played 46 games all-time with the Cowboys holding a 30-16 edge in the series history.
Friday's game at the ASU Baseball Field is set for a 3:00 pm first pitch, Saturday's double header gets under way at 12:00 pm, and the series finale on Sunday is scheduled for a 12:00 pm start.
