Albuquerque, New Mexico - The Cowgirls were busy in two locations on Friday as they prepare for the upcoming RMAC Outdoor Championships next weekend.
Kaitlyn Scott was in Golden competing at the Kit Mayer Classic where she secured an NCAA provisional mark with a 52.93m effort in the Hammer Throw.
At the Don Kirby Tailwind at the University of New Mexico, the Cowgirls qualified two relay teams with NCAA provisional times. The 4x400 team,
Nadine Rose,
Cemore Donald,
Kacian Powell, and
Lucia Harrison, ran a 3:45.01, the second fastest time in the RMAC this season.
Earlier in the day, the 4x100 team
Onanda Lowe,
Patreece Clarke,
Kacian Powell, and
Ashley Barrett, ran a 45.50 which is the fastest time in the RMAC this season.
The RMAC Championships are in Grand Junction next weekend.
