Grand Junction, Colorado - Day one is in the books at the 2024 RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Colorado Mesa University.
The Cowgirls started the day with outstanding efforts in the Hammer Throw finals from
Kaitlyn Scott and Nina Hol. Scott finished second with a 53.22m effort and Hol earned NMHU a point as she finished eighth with a personal best of 49.16m.
In the 100m prelims,
Ashley Barrett advanced to the finals with a facility record 11.54 performance. Also advancing was
Patreece Clarke who posted an 11.85. Barrett and Clarke will race in the finals on Sunday afternoon.
Cemore Donald and
Lucia Harrison both advanced to the finals of the 400m Dash. Donald went 56.49 and Harrison posted a 58.01.
In the 400m Hurdles,
Nadine Rose advances to the finals with a 1:02.14. Day two events are scheduled to get underway Saturday afternoon at Colorado Mesa.
