New Orleans, Louisiana - All Region honors for the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season were announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and six Cowgirls All-South Central Region earned recognition.
Freshman
Ashley Barrett earned all-region honors in the 100m and 200m dash. She will be in Kansas next week competing in the NCAA Division II Championships in the 200m dash.
For the second year in a row,
Patreece Clarke was recognized in the 110m hurdles and she will also compete in Kansas.
The 4x100 relay team of Onada Lowe,
Kacian Powell, Barrett, and Clarke ran a 45.36 at the RMAC Championships which is the third fastest time in the region this season and qualified the team for a trip to Missouri.
Senior
Nadine Rose ran a 1:00.92 in the 400m hurdles at the RMAC Championships to earn recognition from the USTFCCCA.
Finally,
Kaitlyn Scott was recognized for her 53.22 meter effort at the RMAC Championships. This marks the third consecutive year in a row that Scott has earned All-Region honors.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
