Hunter VanCurler Named To RMAC All-Academic First Team

Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released the 2024 All-Academic Team for baseball this morning. Hunter VanCurler earned First Team All-Academic and five Cowboys were named on the Honor Roll.

VanCurler, from Junction City, Oregon, has a 4.0 grade point average while majoring in Human Performance and Sport. He led the NMHU pitching staff appearing in 16 games this spring logging 20 strikeouts. VanCurler pitched the final two innings to preserve the Cowboys 11-0 over Colorado Christian. He was one of three players on this year's All-Academic Team with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Nathan Corugedo (3.91, Health), Lubby Marrujo (3.78, Computer Science), Taiga Sato (3.59, Business Administration), John Slape (4.0, Business Administration), and Chase Stewart (3.33 in Human Performance and Sport) were all named on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
