New Orleans, Louisiana - All-America honors for the 2024 NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field season were announced this week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Five student-athletes from New Mexico Highlands were honored this season, the most for Cowgirls Track and Field since the 2018 season.
Patreece Clarke was named First Team All-American in the 100 hurdles after her seventh place finish last week at the NCAA Championships.
Freshman
Ashley Barrett was Second Team All-American after finishing 10th in the 200m Dash.
Finally, the 4x100 relay team of
Onanda Lowe,
Kacian Powell, Barrett, and Clarke earned Second Team All-American honors.
Top-8 individuals in each event at the National Championship meet earned First Team All-American honors and 9-12 finishers were named Second Team All-American.
