Britt Named RMAC Special Teams Player Of The Week

Colorado Springs, Colorado - New Mexico Highlands kicker Alekzander Britt has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Special Teams player of the Week after the Cowboys win on Saturday over South Dakota Mines.

Britt, a freshman from Westminster, Colorado, was a perfect five for five on point after attempts and knocked through field goals 45 and 25 yards in the Cowboys' 49-10 win at Adams State on Saturday night. The 45 yarder in the second quarter that put the Cowboys up 10-0 was a career long for Britt. He is now seven for seven on field goal attempts this season.

With Saturday's win in Alamosa, the Cowboys improved to 5-3 overall and 3-3 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

NMHU will be in Golden, Colorado this Saturday for a 12:00 pm game with the Colorado School of Mines.
