Kate Rayner and
Devyn Gunn have been honored with selection to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their outstanding achievements in both academics and athletics. With this distinction, both student-athletes have been selected to advance to the national CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Rayner, a four year starter, started in every match and led the Cowgirls in scoring this season. She was honorable mention All-RMAC and on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll. Rayner has a 3.66 grade point average while majoring in Chemistry.
Gunn played in over 4,800 minutes in her four year New Mexico Highlands career. This is the second consecutive season she is on the CSC Academic All-District Team. Gunn is majoring in Pre-professional Health and has a 4.00 grade point average.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on December 16th.
