Las Vegas, New Mexico – Cowgirls move to .500 on the season with their second win over Western New Mexico.
Set one was back and forth until the Cowgirls went on a five-point run led by three kills by
Arianna Jamerson. Mustangs string together a run late and take set one 25-23. Cowgirls controlled the set.
Two Cowgirls go on a 10-5 run over the Mustangs in the middle of the set to pull away late, 25-19.
Set three was all Mustangs, as the Mustangs scored eight unanswered and rolled the set 25-15.
Set four Cowgirls back against the wall, going outscoring Western New Mexico 6-3 at a moment before pulling away to send the match to set five. Set five, the Cowgirls jumped out early, including a five-point run to go up 11-3. However, the Mustangs pulled it within three before a huge block by
Aziza Morris, assisted by
Elise Fourt, ended the match.

With tonight's, the Cowgirls have won the most matches in a season since the 2013 team.

Jaylee Gonzales (16 kills and 16 digs) recorded the ninth double-double of her NMHU career.
The Cowgirls had 13 service aces in Tuesday's win, they now lead the RMAC at 1.96 aces per set.
Tuesday's win marked the fifth straight for the Cowgirls over Western New Mexico.
