Colorado Springs, Colorado - The New Mexico Highlands indoor track and field team was both picked fourth in the 2025-26 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Preseason Coaches' Polls, which were announced this week.
The Cowgirls received 145 points to finish just behind Adams State in the voting by the conference's coaches.
Patreece Clarke,
Ashley Barrett, and
Rojrika Campbell were named to the 2025-26 Preseason All-RMAC Team which is made up of the top returning athlete in each event based on the 2025 NCAA and RMAC Championship efforts.
Clarke was the 60m Hurdle champion a year ago, while Barrett captured the 60m Dash and 200m Dash Championships and Campbell finished second in the Triple Jump a year ago.
The Cowgirls are in Gunnison this weekend to compete at Western Colorado Open and Multi.
