Grand Junction, Colorado - The New Mexico Highlands baseball team dropped the season finale at Colorado Mesa on Monday afternoon 31-0. The Cowboys are now 8-12 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
NMHU ran into an offensive buzz saw on Monday afternoon in the form of the Colorado Mesa Mavericks. CMU jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after their half of the first inning and then scored in every inning en route to the lopsided win.

NMHU is in Golden next weekend for a four game series with the Colorado School of Mines beginning on Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm.
