Cowgirls' All-American Duo Carries Indoor Momentum to Outdoor Opener

Canyon, Texas - Fresh off stellar All-American performances at the NCAA Indoor National Championships, Ashley Barrett and Patreece Clarke carried their momentum into the outdoor season, leading the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls at the West Texas Relays on Saturday.

The sophomore sprinter returned later in the meet with a 23.73 in the 200-meter dash to rank in the top-ten nationally in the the event.
