Colorado Springs, Colorado - The New Mexico Highlands 4x100 team was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Track Athletes of theWeek this afternoon by the conference office.
Freshman
Rujeko Munetsi, sophomores
Ashley Barrett and
Kacian Powell, and junior
Patreece Clarke posted a 44.71 at West Texas A&M's Jo Meeker Classic and Multi last weekend to set a new New Mexico Highlands school record and post the fastest time in the country this season.
This is the second time this season that NMHU has laid claim to the Track Athlete of the Week as
Patreece Clarke earned that recognition on March 26th after her performance in the 100m Hurdles at the West Texas Relays.
The Cowgirls are in Golden on Thursday for the Mines Midweek #2.
The RMAC Outdoor Conference Championships are scheduled for April 25th - 27th at the Colorado School of Mines.
